Mondeo Mk4 Instrument Cluster Upgrade. At the moment I'm currently looking at purchasing a 2008 Mondeo 2.0 TDCI. She's a Ghia spec which means she's relatively well spec'd, only problem I have was I was hoping for a Titanium spec mainly because of the Ford Converse+ cluster display.
I have upgraded the cluster to the one which the dials appearing in front of you, along with 2 display panels you can control. I bought FORSCAN to get a code for another problem and while at it i found B1A84-51, PC DTC B1A84 51-2B Car Configuration Data (Additional Fault Symptom - Not Programmed), Instrument Panel also says 9A8451 on the self test using the dash.

Remove the BCM and check for any corrosion on any of the contacts (once you disconnect the plugs), if they are clean then it's got to be the cluster joints have become loose. Search on Ebay for "Focus MK2 Instrument Cluster Repair", you send it off and they fix and return the cluster to you, should cost no more than about £70
Hi all, As title states I'm looking at upgrading my Ghia instrument cluster to the Titanium one with Ford Converse+ display. Must be a diesel cluster, my own car is a 2.0 TDCI but I think one from a 1.8 or 2.2 diesel should work aswell. Thanks

Sorry if this has already been discussed - I have a 2008 Mondeo titanium 2.0 diesel. It has an intermittent fault that has been occuring every couple of weeks for the last few months. Whilst driving the esp warning light keeps coming on and this will happen on and off over a period of a week or so and then every warning light on the dash lights
