A few months ago I read the novel version of “Five Feet Apart,” and I can confidently say the movie follows the plot of the written book very closely. While I did know the ending, it did not make me any less excited. While I quietly prayed for Stella to hold her breath for a second longer, my dad most likely thought I was going insane. Five Feet Apart was inspired by a a real couple, and the title refers to a real issue for people with cystic fibrosis (aka CF): the risk of cross-infection means that they must stay six feet apart I liked the movie even though i thought it had quite a bit of a script or a dialogue issue. I especially liked the framing of the shots and the overall story.
